What is Corrosion? Loss Due to Corrosion in Indian pretrochemicals and chemicals Industry

Corrosion is a process of metal with oxides with environment. It is known as oxidize and hydroxide or sulfide which the gradually destruct metals. Thus oxidation of metal is called corrosion. It is known as reactions (electrochemical or chemicals) with local environment. Corrosion engineering is the field dedicated to controlling and stopping corrosion. India losses $40 billion due to corrosion in Petrochemicals and Chemicals Industry.

Now, this problem gets override through using the Corrosion free material used in the new stainless steel  pipes especially in petrochemicals, chemicals, energy, shipping and port sector where steel pipes are mainly used for transporting oil, gas and chemicals.

In my monthly newsletter Corrosionnewsletter you can get more information on possible solution for corrosion free materials, how select suitable stainless steel materials in your project. There is a need to solve leakages problem and reduce maintenance  due to corrosion.
